Google AdSense is a program run by Google that allows website owners to display ads on their websites, and earn money when users click on those ads. The ads are targeted to the content of the website, and the website owner earns a portion of the revenue generated by the ads. AdSense is a popular way for website owners to monetize their content, as it is easy to set up and provides a steady stream of income with minimal effort.
There are many websites and blogs which are earning millions of dollars with the help of Google Adsense. Your Adsense earnings depend on your blog niche and website traffic etc. If you work on high CPC niche then you can generate huge ad revenue with minimum website traffic. You need to fulfil this Google Adsense approval requirement to monetize your website with Adsense in 2023.
1. Minimum number of posts
There is no set number of blog posts required for Adsense approval, as Google team evaluates each application on a case-by-case basis. However, it is generally recommended to have a sizable amount of high-quality content on your website before applying for Adsense, as this will demonstrate to Google that your site is active and has a consistent level of engagement.
Google’s policies require that your site must be fully functional, with original and high-quality content, and should not have any adult, violent, or hateful content. I have seen many websites get Adsense approval with just 4-5 blog posts, however, these blog posts are more than 2500-3000 words in length. If your blog posts are short then you may need to publish at least 20-30 for Adsense approval in 2023. Google has never set a minimum blog post criteria for Adsense approval however it’s a Google Adsense approval requirement, so you need to publish a good amount of blog posts for Adsense approval.
2. Follow Adsense Policy
Google reserves the right to reject or terminate an application or an Adsense account if they found any violation in their policies, or if they believe that your website is not suitable for the program.
Many bloggers try to find shortcut and try to cheat Google Adsense. You should always follow Adsense policy to earn money on a long run.
As per Google Adsense policy you should not publis violated niche, your site should not contain illegal & copyrighted content, you need to be 18 years old and your website must have unique & high quality content.
For more details policy you may visit Google Adsense page.
3. Top Level Domain
A top-level domain (TLD) is not a requirement for AdSense approval, but it can be beneficial. A TLD is the portion of a website’s address that comes after the “dot,” such as .com or .org. Having a TLD can give your website a more professional appearance and can make it easier for users to remember your site’s address. However, it is not a requirement for AdSense approval and Google does accept websites with other types of domain names, such as .co, .info, .net, .org and many more.
But you should not work on low-level free domains, Google Adsense may not approve. You will get approval on .blogspot without any problem.
4. Easy navigation
Easy navigation is an important factor that Google considers when evaluating AdSense applications. It is also required for your website for a good user experience. Google wants to ensure that users can easily find the content they are looking for on your website and that your website is easy to use and navigate. This includes having a clear and well-organized menu and making it simple for users to find the information they need.
Having a website that is easy to navigate can also improve the user experience, which can lead to higher engagement and a lower bounce rate, which can also increase your ad revenue.
Therefore, it’s important to have a simple, clean and well-organized website layout that makes it easy for visitors to find the information they are looking for and navigate the site. This can include things like a clear and easy-to-use menu, a search bar, and a clear and consistent design throughout the site.
5. Minimum Traffic
The amount of traffic required for AdSense approval can vary, as Google evaluates each application on a case-by-case basis. However, having a significant amount of traffic can be beneficial when applying for AdSense, as it demonstrates that your website is active and has a consistent level of engagement. Google Adsense has no official requirement for approval but your website will not get Adsense approval without traffic.
Google wants to ensure that the website is providing value to its users and it’s not a parked domain or a domain used for spamming. Therefore, having a website that receives a good amount of traffic can be seen as a positive signal for Adsense Approval. However, it’s worth noting that quality of traffic is more important than quantity, Google wants to make sure that the website’s traffic is engaged and interested in the website’s content.
It’s also important to note that Adsense approval requires following all the policies and guidelines that google set, such as having quality content, easy navigation, and compliance with the program policies. Even if your website receives a high amount of traffic but doesn’t meet the Adsense policies, your application can still be rejected.
