Siteground was providing free site migration with hotsing plans.
But recently on June 2021 Siteground stopped free site migration and they charge $30 for site migration.
Don’t worry , they will give a site migration plugin for free. You can migrate you website from other hosting provider to Sitegroud immedietly using the SG migration plugin.
SG Migration Plugin is totally free to use and very easy to use. SG Migration is a very powerful and useful plugin using which you can transfer your website to Siteground with some clicks.
Data Centre:
Recently Siteground moved to Google Cloud and built their data centres in many places. Currently, they have data centres in 6 location. You should choose the data centre nearest to your audience location.

Siteground build their data centre in Australia and Germany in 2021 and they will build more data centre in the future.
If you are from India and majority of your website visitors are from India then you should choose Singapore(Asia) as your data entre (Server location).
Backup:
Backup is a major factor of Siteground review so I am going to share Siteground hosting backup process. Siteground provides 30days off-server backup means they will store the backup data in another storage but not in the same server. So you can expect your data is safe.
You have to enable the backup option and they will keep backup time to time. One-click restoration process, if you need you can restore backup data in one click.
Siteground backup and restoration process is very easy to use.
Free Domain:
Siteground don’t provide any free domain with any of their hosting plans. You will get a emporary domain for free which you can use to make testing site.
It is not necessary to transfer your domain to Siteground to use Siteground hosting, you have to just update DNS with your current Domain registrar.
Site Builder:
You will get Weebly sitebuilder with any hosting plans you purchase from Siteground, Weebly is one of the most popular sitebuilder. Weebly sitebuilder is a very easy to use sitebuilder. You will get lots of ready-made templates for free. Weebly premium is also available which you can purchase to get more beautiful and attractive templates. Sitebuilder is very useful for some websites so I have included it in this Siteground Review.
Software:
You can use PHP 7.4, Python 3.7, Unfortunately Perl and NodeJ are not supported in Siteground yet, They may support these in the future.
Staging:
Siteground provides you staging feature for free. With the help of Staging you can create a duplicate of you website and test every features before implementing it on your website. Basically, it will create a temporary duplicate of you website and implement the feature you request. Staging is very useful for some bloggers and it’s a very importatnts of a Hosting provider because some blogger need it so I have added it in this Siteground Review.

You can create unlimited email accounts with Siteground Hosting but there will be limitations in size. One email id can’t cross this limitaions but you can create unlimited email accounts. I have mentioned below the limitations.

This limitation on email size is not a big problem for sharing hosting. Many of us prefer to use branded email account, you can use use your own branded email wih Siteground Hosting.
